These Terms govern your use of the Muuni website and online store. We've written them to be as clear as possible — but if anything is confusing, just email us at hello@heymuuni.com.

In plain terms:

  • A binding purchase only happens once you receive an order confirmation from us.
  • You have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Full details are in our [Returns & Refunds policy].
  • If something arrives defective or wrong, we'll make it right.
  • Norwegian law governs these Terms — but if you're in the EEA, your local consumer protections always apply.

Muuni is a brand operated by Norse Ocean AS. When you purchase products from Muuni, you enter into a contract with Norse Ocean AS.

By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our [Privacy Policy].


1. Eligibility and Use of the Services

You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information when placing orders. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.


2. Products and Product Information

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions and images. Colors and appearance may vary depending on your screen settings.

Product descriptions, availability and pricing may change without notice. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.


3. Orders and Contract Formation

When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase products. A binding contract is formed only when you receive an order confirmation email from us.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, suspicion of fraud, or incorrect information provided. If we cancel an order, you will receive a full refund.


4. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in NOK, SEK, DKK unless otherwise stated. Prices include VAT where applicable but exclude shipping costs unless specified.

Payment must be completed before the order is processed. You confirm that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.


5. Shipping and Risk

Delivery times are estimates unless otherwise agreed. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you or a person designated by you physically receives the goods.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond our control — but this does not affect your statutory rights.


6. Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

If you are a consumer residing in the EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

This section does not limit your rights under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven).


7. Complaints and Defects

Consumers have the right to complain about defects under the Norwegian Consumer Purchase Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven). You must notify us within a reasonable time after discovering a defect.

For products intended to last longer than two years, the complaint period may extend up to five years.

If a product is defective, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or a refund — in accordance with applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — including trademarks, logos, images and text — is owned by Norse Ocean AS or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute or use our content without written permission.


9. Third-Party Services

The Services are powered by Shopify. All sales contracts are between you and Norse Ocean AS — Shopify is not a party to your purchase.

We may use third-party tools and links. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.


10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We work hard to keep things running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Norse Ocean AS shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or mandatory statutory consumer rights.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product.


12. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Services for unlawful purposes or in a manner that may harm the Services or other users. We may suspend or terminate access in case of misuse.


13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.


14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer residing in the EEA, you may bring proceedings in your country of residence and retain mandatory consumer protections under your local law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary. If we make significant changes, we'll do our best to let you know. The latest version will always be available on our website.

Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
