We want you to love your Muuni. If something isn't right, we'll do our best to make it so — quickly and without unnecessary back-and-forth.

In plain terms:

  • You have 14 days to change your mind after receiving your order.
  • Unopened nail strips can be returned. Opened ones cannot — for hygiene reasons.
  • An email is all it takes — or use the withdrawal form below if you prefer.
  • Defective or wrong items? Email us with a photo and your order number and we'll sort it.
  • Refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving your return.

1. Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

In accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, send us a clear written notice before the 14-day period expires:

Please include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

You may also use the standard withdrawal form (angreskjema) — using it is optional, and any clear statement is equally valid:

Your notice counts as on time if it is sent before the 14-day period expires.

2. Refunds

If you withdraw within the 14-day period, we will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs. Additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a non-standard shipping method are not refunded.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving your returned goods or proof of return — whichever comes first. Refunds are returned to your original payment method unless we agree otherwise.

3. How to Return

Once you've notified us, return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notice.

Send your return to our warehouse:

Return shipping costs are your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service — you bear the risk of loss or damage during return transport.

Please do not send returns to our registered business address in Sandnessjøen — goods sent there may be delayed or lost.

4. Condition of Returned Goods

You're entitled to examine the goods as you would in a physical store. You're only liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what's needed to assess the nature and function of the product.

Original packaging is not required, but please pack your return securely to prevent damage in transit.

5. Hygiene Exemption — Nail Strips

This is important to understand before you return.

Our nail strips are sealed for hygiene. The following applies:

  • Foil seal intact: your full 14-day withdrawal right applies. You can return the product.
  • Foil seal broken: the right of withdrawal does not apply, as the product cannot be resold for hygiene reasons.

This is in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act, which exempts sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken after delivery.

Unopened items in the same order can still be returned even if other items have been opened.

6. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible at hello@heymuuni.com.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • A photo of the item

This helps us resolve things quickly. Your rights in relation to defects are governed by the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven). For defective items, return shipping is of course on us.

7. Sale Items and Gift Cards

The statutory right of withdrawal applies to sale items — same terms as above.

Gift cards are non-refundable once issued, except where required under mandatory consumer protection law.
